  • Cutting down or complete rest from impact activities
  • Icing
  • In severe cases, a walking boot or cast can be prescribed
  • Stretching exercises for lower limb muscles, calf, hamstring, quadriceps
  • Strengthening exercises for calf quads hamstring and glutes
  • Correcting jumping and landing or running technique
  • Shoe insoles or supportive shoes to reduce stress on the heel
  • Foam roller to loosen up the tight muscles
